It's not optional, and if you need assistance to do it, then ask for it and it will be offered. And, yes, each and every one of you has to deal with that. Reporting here, other than to make your fellow users aware, which does have value of its own, is not useful for seeking an official fix. The official policy of this Group's Administration is that issues are to be reported via GitHub. We have to occasional "drive-by reading" by members of the NVDA development team, and even then there's no guarantee they'll read the topic where someone's discussing an issue. Every software developer has official reporting mechanisms, and expects them to be used.
